Customer Review: Must have for homes full of battery-operated toys!

Duracell is a Christmastime necessity for families with battery-operated presents under the tree! We buy Duracell when our AA battery usage exceeds our stable of rechargeable batteries (reserved for TV remotes and Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers).
We find it best to use disposable batteries for toys and games, at least until we get a better sense of their usage. We convert our sons' favorite blinking and beeping toys (read: the toys they hide under their pillows) to rechargeable batteries and swap out the remaining Duracell batteries, which are then used to power electric toothbrushes, flashlights and alarm clocks.
The Amazon prize is competitive with other stores and the direct-to-home shipping is convenient. Our 28-pack of AA batteries cost less than 40 cents each through Amazon's Subscribe & Save program.
In summary, I highly recommend these batteries as a backup to your rechargeable collection. I was impressed with Amazon's "Frustration-Free Packaging" and confident in Duracell's guarantee that the batteries will remain fresh for seven years (even though ours are used up within a year of purchase).
