My wife and I have been using the Seiko S-Yard ES412 Cleancut personal shaver for about month and are happy to report that it works very well. We ordered the Seiko S-Yard ES412 Cleancut personal shaver together with the Cleancut T-Shape personal shaver. On the first day, we started with the T-Shape personal shaver which, in iteslf, gave a clean and smooth shave. From that point on, we used the Seiko S-Yard ES412 Cleancut personal shaver daily for maintenance. It works well with or without powder. Razor bumps are a thing of the past. I wouldn't recommend using this shaver for general shaving purposes, since it would probably destroy the blades quickly. It was designed for a specific purpose (private areas) and works very well.
The shaver is 5 - 6 inches tall and has the width of a "C" battery. After a month of daily use (approximately 10 minutes per day), the motor is still going strong, so it's not a battery hog. It comes with a plastic cover for the top(where the blade and mesh is). The plastic cover fits loosely, so I had to place some layers of tape on the inside of the cover to make it snug. It also comes with a soft zippered case.
We highly recommend this product.

You will need to trim the hair down to stubble, something similar to a 5 O'clock shadow or a days growth on a mans face before the Cleancut is able to remove hair. NO TRIMMER IS INCLUDED in this package but we recommend the PS334 or PS335 with this unit. These trimmers are made and distributed by the same company. Battery not included. not meant for shaving legs. also comes with an instructional DVD. This DVD shows how to use a personal shaver and associated trimmers.
