According to the Environmental Working Group's ([...]) work on toxins in consumer products, Earth Mama Angel Baby Organic Shampoo rates a 0 out of 10. Lower numbers represent a lower health risk. Be aware that because it is NOT tear-free (it contains no anesthetizing ingredients) it will sting the eyes. The foaming dispenser makes it easy to use just the right amount which reduces the waste I have experienced with pour-out or squirt-out shampoo dispensers. My little ones also love the foam and enjoy "helping" me wash them. Definitely worth the expense and I will be purchasing the 34 oz refill soon.
