Customer Review: nonionic surfactants are not natural and healthy

Surfactant chemistry has allowed companies to produce surfactants from plant and animal ingredients. But makers mislabel these products as "healthy", distinguishing the products as coming from plant sources rather than by the chemical properties that are the end result. (The dreaded petroleum also comes from - plants and animals.)
If you really care about the environment and you have the ability to learn new things, you can to read and study the difference between detergents and "real soaps" - and then you will completely switch to soap. This product is a DETERGENT. Detergents are bad and for our skin, lungs, and any other membrane that comes into contract with them. The dust in the air from detergents deeply effects human and animal lungs, not to mention what it does to the environment.
Just because some company gives itself a 'healthy" name and says its products are good for you - does that mean it is true? Well, I saw it on the tv so it must be true, doh! I am still surprised how many people so easily buy this bologna and refuse to learn the truth for their self.
I would personally avoid products that are made up of nonionic surfactants, even from so called "natural" ingredients. 1 cup of white vinegar does the same job as this product, and vinegar is edible.
