I found this on the internet while I was looking for an ice pack for my up coming total knee replacement. It performed as advertised and even better than I expected. I would put it on my bare skin and it was not to cold and would last 20 to 30 minutes, longer if you would wrap a towel or blanket around it. This is just about the correct amount of time recommended so you don't risk frostbite. I would put it back in the freezer and in about 1-2 hours it would be ready to use again which is about the correct interval for icing a swollen area. Extremely flexible and the Velcro straps hold it on your knee even if you want to walk around. I also used it to put on my knee when going on a long drive when I couldn't elevate my knee and it worked just fine and was not to bulky. I bought another ice pack for about half the price and it worked ok but it would be to cold to put against the skin even with it's protective cover and was not as flexible. I guess you get what you pay for. The only drawback would be the soft nylon fabric they use will also catch the Velcro anchor ends but this is only a minor complain. The fabric is soft against the skin and does not rub against the skin, very comfortable. I have not used it as a heated pad so I have no opinion as to that use. I have a second total knee replacement on my other knee coming up in a few months I'm glad to know I have this product to use with that surgery too. I would highly recommend this product and it is well worth the price.

Sizes are the 4Óx24Ó or 6Óx16Ó wrap. The 6Óx24Ó is recommended for areas such as, knee and neck. When treating larger areas such as leg, shoulder, chest or back our 9Óx24Ó is perfect.
