I actually used this product for my dog. She had chronic...and I mean chronic...urinary tract infections. This had been going on for about 3 years. She has been through two vets - the second vet was for a second opinion because the first vet put her through a battery of tests and I didn't get any resolutions. The vet took a sterile sample of the urine to identify e-coli as the culprit bacteria. We also did a sonogram to check for stones which came up negative. We would then put the dog on an antibiotic and the UTI would go away but be back within 3-4 weeks every time. My dog has been on doxycycline, clovamax, simplicef....all of them would last for about 4 weeks and then there would be blood in the urine again. I started to give the dog D-Mannose w/crandberry extract and things got better in terms of length between flare-ups, but the dog was never cured. Finally, at the recommendation from a friend, I tried the acidophilus pearls and along with the D-Mannose and that finally did the trick. My dog has not had a UTI flare-up in over 8 weeks and shows no signs of her getting one again (cloudy urine, tucking her legs up tight around her belly when she lays down, blood in urine).Customer Review: We like this probiotic supplement the BEST!!!

These probiotics R the best! Previously, we bought the capsule probiotics; but, they would degrade if they got hot, or humid. Well, here in Florida it's almost always hot & humid. These capsules don't degrade & R individually enclosed in packets; so, U can EZily tear off what U need 4 trips. Also, they R tiny & round; so, very EZ 2 swallow. Also, it consists of 1 billion CFUs of Lactobacillus, acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum. We take 1 after breakfast & 1 b4 bed. Research shows that U can be healthier if your gut is healthy. Americans have killed the normal, "good" bacteria that is supposed 2 reside in your gut due 2 antibiotic use. We can take this supplement instead of trying 2 gag down yoghurt; plus, all the fat & sugar, or toxic artificial sweetner that somes in yoghurt.
I want 2 advise U of the numerous health benefits of taking olive leaf extract--it's a miracle 4 my family. It's an antibiotic, antiviral & antifungal--just 2 mention a few things! It's taken away all of the muscular pain that my little sister has suffered 4 years with fibromyalgia. It's boosted our moods. Just be careful, it lowers bp, blood sugar, cholesterol.

I stumbled across this product one night when desperately trying to find a 'cure' for yet another yeast infection that my doctor says is simply brought on by hormones every month. She said to try different kinds of acidophilus and to see which product seemed to help the most.
THIS product, (in conjunction with the Acidophilus pills) has changed my life. I went from having a yeast infection EVERY MONTH for six years (I tried changing my diet for years, taking Diflucan in massive dosages, creams and suppositories, etc., with no effect), to not having had a single one in the past four months since I've been taking this product daily (I started off by tripling my dosage, then doubling, and am now down to what the bottle recommends and still seem OK). When I was taking the massive doses, I did have to contend with "the runs" sometimes, but I finally got a dosage down that seems to work for me.
If you've struggled with irregularity (that was never a problem of mine, but this has helped my bowels with that, too), or if you have recurring yeast infections, GET THIS TODAY.
This is the best deal I've found (for the price)!

For the last few years I had been plagued by several issues related by my digestive tract and even though I've only been taking the pearls for about 2 weeks I think I've now put them behind me. I had a very strange problem of getting the urge to vomit on an empty stomach. It would come on suddenly and I would get dry heaves if I didn't get something in my stomach quickly! My doctor was as mystified as I was. In addition, I noticed that I was becoming more and more constipated, especially in the evenings. I was resigning myself to the thought that this is just what would happen when you get older, but it turns out this is not necessarily the case.
Since I've been taking the pearls both these issues seem to have cleared up, and I'm really pleased. I'm not sure how long I need to take them on a daily basis, but I'm very happy I took the time to read all these reviews. I even gave some to a friend who said she had been feeling gassy lately. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone having issues with their intestinal tract.

I have tried alternative medicine for yeast infections and I finally found one that works. Unfortunately, the acidophilus pills arrived after I cured my YI. That means I cannot advise about whether this product works for that but boric acid douches do work, and so does a lot of cranberry pills. Getting back to, "pearls", it definitely helps with digestion issues. I actually got this product because the acidophilus chews and the pills I got at Krogers did not work for me. I wanted to see if the "Pearls", would be any better. By the time I got it, the boric acid had already gotten to my location first and I was not going to wait for the, "Pearls". When they finally arrived, I figuered I would take it just to see if it made a difference and it does. I would go in detail but I have disclosed more about myself than I already cared to. One thing for sure I can tolerate dairy more than I could before. I was vegan and more so because, the dairy did not agree with me than for other reasons. Now, if I want to have a pizza I can.
