Customer Review: Consistent stats and easy to use

We replaced a Tanita body fat scale with this scale because we felt like the Tanita's body fat measurement was inaccurate. Plus, you couldn't, eat, sleep or exercise within 3 hours of weighing yourself. The escali eliminates all of those requirements and provides a consistent body fat reading. My wife programmed the scale for each of us and it's easy to use.
To get into your program you place one foot in the center of the scale and remove it when it gets to your program #. So - when it shows #1 on the screen, I remove my foot and wait until it shows my gender and age - then step on the scale. About 30 seconds lated it provides my weight, body fat % and water %. The only hassle is if I accidentally leave my foot on too long and get my wife's program. It takes about 90 seconds to clear out.
The design is crisp and clean and it looks nice on the floor. I have and will continue to reccomend this produc to frineds and family

scale worked right away after putting batteries in (batteries come with). I had read previous reviews so I knew about the kg vs pound issue. The scale comes standard measuring in KG's instead of pounds. You need to switch it to pounds on the bottom. Worked flawlessly.. tap on it with your foot, give it a sec, and step on. My boyfriend and I had just been to the doctor for physicals 3 days before I got the scale so I knew what our weights were. The scale seems to be pretty accurate. He weighs about 198,and I am a bit higher. It is consistent as it read the same weight for both of us each time we stood on it. Seems like a great scale for the price. I paid about $80 for a Tanita a few years ago. This seems to do the exact same things the Tanita does.. It also has a 5 year guarantee, so I imagine if it starts having issues, you can deal with it through the warranty. Great scale for the money!Customer Review: Great value, excellent product

I purchased this product after a great deal of research. Like a lot of folks out there, I wanted something that would be "consistent" every time I step on, back-to-back. And it is. Right out of the box it worked with no difficultly or lenghtly setup. I've gotten on and off a few times in the space of a minute and the readings were always the same.
The Escali is a high capacity scale, when others top out at 330lbs or 350lbs - a plus in my case. But better than that, this product was relatively cheap compared to other scales from Weight Watchers/Conair, Tanita, Health O Meter, and LifeSource. Many of those brands with high capacity were up in the $100+ range.
If anyone wants an economically priced, high capacity scale that does exactly what it advertises, then this is the scale for you.
It is highly recommended.

I recently purchased the Escali High Capacity Bathroom Scale and I am extremely pleased with it. For years I have not been able to weigh at home because I could not find a high capacity scale in the local retail stores. Actually, I did not know they existed. To add insult to injury, I can not weigh at my doctor's office because my weight fluctuated between 20-35 pounds above his scale's 350 pound capacity. As a result of not being able to weigh, I could stay in denial when I gained or failed to lose weight. This scale is attractive, easy to use, and was very affordable and has been an added incentive to stay on my diet. I now plan to weigh weekly and have lost 5.2 pounds in the last week. I now have hope that I can achieve significant weight loss now that I can accurately chart my weight at home as often as I like. This scale is a God-send for me!Customer Review: I like it!

WE got off to a great start when it told me I weighed less than our old, doctor's office type scale.
If one actually bothers to read the directions, it is very simple to use and so far seems to give consistent measurements.
Unlike some scales, it doesn't jump around if you don't stand stock still, but settles in on a consistent weight.
It can be a bit unstable, so older folks may wish to think twice if they have balance probs. Or if they need a scale with grips.. this is beautiful clear glass or somesuch and might be slippery if you have wet feet.
Other than this caveat, it is recommended.
One thing which could be better is remembering the weight and body fat measurements from last time... it doesn't do this.
