I have been getting daily and nightly hot flashes since Jan 2009 (several per day and 3-4 per night). I have tried numerous other remedies, including Remifemin - and nothing worked. I have resisted trying estrogen for a long time due to a family history of breast cancer - but after 1.75 years, I was EXHAUSTED and at my wits end...so I broke down and ordered it. Wow! What a difference already after only 5 days. While the hot flashes are not yet completely gone, they have been minimized to where I now only get a couple per day and I can sleep through the night...and the ones I do get are a lot milder than what I was getting. I'm upset that I waited so long to try bHRT estrogen - and already have decided the rewards outweigh the risks.
