I am susceptible to dry, cracked skin on my elbows and the backs of my hands, and I used to have cracking, in both places, to the point of bleeding and sores that were difficult to heal. Daily application of Eucerin reduced the problem noticeably, and eliminated the cracking and bleeding. The calluses gradually diminished, until they are now just enough for the skin to be resistant to injury there, but not a problem themselves. As to the "durable" comment, these jars seem to last forever, even when used daily. Highly recommended!
