My father is in his mid eighties so trying to think of a good present can be hard. He doesn't need for much but I noticed that he makes out his bills in "his" chair, where he spends much of his time. He's been using a book for a hard surface and when I saw this lapdesk in a magazine and then on Amazon I thought it would be great because it would be comfortable on his lap, has compartments for stamps and another for pens. Not only that, it has a handle so when he's done he can just lower to the floor from his chair. He hasn't gotten it yet because its for Christmas so I can't report how much he likes it. I may have to do a second review! But for now I am so excited for him to see it!
