My little dog is on heart medication--this is the best way I found to be sure I never have to keep asking myself if I remembered to give her her pill. I place her pill pocket and a little treat in each day. She is smart enough to remind me to give it to her because she knows a treat is in store for her. The reason why I like this pill reminder is because of the twist caps--it keeps her treats moist--I purchased other pill reminders and they would dry out her treats. Yes, they are rather cheaply made, but with care, they can last quite a while. I am sure other people would use this in a much more serious way, but my little dog is precious to me so I am always happy when I find ways to keep her happy and healthy.
