I definitely noticed an increase in my metabolism after drinking one of these Lance Armstrong energy drinks. Didn't feel all jittery like after I slam a red bull, but I could feel an overall increase in energy. There are a bunch of other healthy goodies in this drink. This light citrus drink is a great low calorie alternative. I do feel a lot of energy when drinking it and it satisfies my thirst. There is a touch of caffeine but I don't feel the typical jolt like I do with other more heavily laden energy drinks. Overall, it is a pleasant taste which is not overpowering.
I highly recommend it.
