To make matters worse, the review of the item talks about the cleaning base, which lead me to believe that it came with the unit... When looking for a replacement cutter block for my Braun Flex Integral I saw the "reconditioned" Syncro 7526. Since the batteries in my Flex were starting to go, it seemed like a good deal on a new shaver. I prefer foil shavers and have owned three Braun shavers over the years. Each one seems to get better. So far I don't have a single complaint about the Syncro 7526. It gives a close, comfortable shave and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a foil shaver. The "reconditioned" Syncro 7526 does NOT include the clean/charge stand. It comes in a plain cardboard box with the power cord, cleaning brush, and a soft carry case.Customer Review: com and Braun for a great idea.

I do a lot of traveling and bring my Braun 7526 with me eveywhere. In the course of my travels, I damaged my shaver and took it to a local, authorized repair shop to have it fixed. I was going to have to spend $...(U.S.) for the repairs and then receive only a 30-day warranty (parts and labor). I decided to buy a factory-reconditioned unit because the cost was the same and I was to receive a two-year warranty. My "new" shaver arrived in mint condition and is quieter than my old one ever was. This was one of the smartest purchases I have made. I have owned a eight year old Hitache shaver, although the unit is still working, I wanted to try something which will not leave the longer hairs untoughed. This braun shaver does exactly as I expected. It charges fast (1 hour vs 16 hours), it give my skin a smooth feeling, and it is still going strong after 8 days use. Best of all, it only cost me mere1/3 of a new one. I could hardly see a sign of being used previouly, and I don't miss the cleaning/charging unit. I highly recommended this shaver to anyone looking for a great shaver and a great price.After 6 months use, the unit is still going strong. What amazes me is that each charge gives me exactly one month.
