I bought this thermometer and it only lasted for 23 days before the low battery indicator came on. I used it for about 1 week to 2 weeks after that and then it barely turned on and was so weak I couldn't trust the temp reading anymore. I gave it a lower rating because of this.
The memory recall feature is nice, but it really does flash by way to quickly for my liking. There has been several times where I would have to turn it off and back on again to see the reading because I missed it.
It is sturdy and not easily breakable. I also like how it has a pink end to it. In the end, I would recommend a different product then this one because of the short battery span. Its just to much money to spend on something that can barely last a month. If it wasn't for that then I would consider it a good thermometer.

The only reason that I didn't give this only 1 star is that it will eventually give you an accurate temperature. But the memory feature on mine has never worked... which I only figured out after recording a week of 97.70 every day. If you don't shake it down (I thought you didn't have to do that with a digital) every morning, it will beep that it is finished within 25-30 seconds and have an extremely low reading. I usually have to take my temperature at least 3 times to get an accurate reading - and all that beeping then wakes up my husband, too.
I'm hoping that investing a few more dollars into a "higher-end" model will be worth it.

I tend to wake up a lot while sleeping, so I need to take my temp before I am actually "up" for the day. As such, I wanted something that would let me rely on the memory feature. This memory feature is completely intermittent. Sometimes you get the last temp, sometimes you don't. To further confuse things, the thermometer shows "97.7" every time you turn it on. I'm never sure if 97.7 is the actual temp or if it dropped my reading again. After an entire month of charting, I think I've only got 4 days of accurate temperatures. The button is hard to push, you actually need to use your fingernail to turn it on. I wouldn't buy it again.Customer Review: Memory is inconsistant

The memory feature is less to be desired. It more often sets back to the default temperature when holding the ON button. It is a pain to have to get out of bed and walk across the room to turn on the light to read it and record it right away. I bought it because of the memory feature and am displeased with the lack there of. Now I just keep a flashlight next to the bed so I can record it right away. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are counting on the memory to be correct last temp taken.Customer Review: sed it three times and now it doesn't read correctly

It's made out to be one of the best thermometers for ovulation but I found that it just didn't work very well, at all.
The reading took forever, it never beeped, and my temperature was at 92f? Umm yeah that's not even close... I do know very well, how to take my temperature, So I'm not sure what the problem was.
My Husband tried it too but it was also reading his temp at 92f...
Just use a calendar and get knocked up, it's easier and more effective.
