I've gone through loads of irons over the years. From cheap to not so cheap. I thought I loved my Wigo which was about $80 at Ulta, but after my stylist used the Chi - I decided to suck it up and buy it because my hair came out so good and I have an incredible problem with frizz and it stayed so nice for 2 days. Here in GA it gets humid..so this was the deciding factor for me. My hair comes out so smooth and bone straight. I have naturally fine curly hair and this totally does the trick with one maybe two swipes on my hair. With my Wigo, by the afternoon, my hair would start to puff and start to frizz. This keeps it nice all day long. I'd probably give it 5 stars, but I think it needs an automatic shutoff after at least an hour. Customer Review: The chi is an amazing straightener.

The chi is an amazing straightener. I live in humid Florida, and this straightener gets my curly hair pin straight and it stays straight until I wash it. Unfortunatly, my first one just stopped working and farouk refused to take it back because "Amazon in not an authorized dealer so your warranty is void". Luckily, Amazon replaced my straighter at no charge and I didn't even have to pay for shipping. This is a great straightener and its worth its weight in gold (when it works), but at $120 dollars you are taking an expensive risk.
