Replaced first order because it was defective and the replacement arrived and now has the same problem. I don't believe it is a problem with amazon, though I do believe it is an issue with the product and manufacturer. I have never had a problem with any items puchased from Amazon.com until now.Customer Review: but the "turbo" version is cool.

i ordered this b/c of all the hype about the chi line... it really is a great straightener, but i still think it damages my hear/ creates "fly-away," broken pieces of hair on the top of my head. but the "turbo" version is cool... red velvet on the outsides of the product...Customer Review: I was floored by the price...
