The cover is NOT removable. I cannot imagine why someone would put a fabric cover over a hot water bottle that is NOT removable. I consider the product useless and will return mine. I will not be able to fill it without getting the cover wet. The cover is thin and appears to be polyester. The stopper doesn't appear to be well made. The directions say NOT to put boiling water in it. Not worth any price for the unremovable cover. Not worth the $28.00 plus $8.00 shipping for just the bottle which seems to me worth $10.00 maximum.
