Being a fan on the Febreeze Scent story player, I was very excited to try this product. It literally takes a minute to set it up. The box comes with a lamp base, 2 scented shades, and batteries are included. All you have to do is pull the plastic out over them (batteries) to activate them. At the bottom of the base is an on off switch. The `lamp shade' comes in a foil pouch that is flat. You open the shade and place it on the base over the flameless light. You then turn the switch to on for the candle to flicker. The scent is strong but I have it about 20 feet away from me. The `lamp' itself is really pretty. I would never guess it is an air freshener. Seems the scent is too strong for a lot of people or that it irritates their eyes and such. I am asthmatic and it does not bother me. On the outer box is a CAUTION" Eye irritant" in caps. It is written on the removable fake shade you discard as well in caps and bold. Then on the `shade' foil it is written as well. It also notes on the shade foil to wash your hands after handling the shade, which I did. The shade is supposed to last two weeks, I think it might last longer. I am eager to see what the refills cost and try the other scents. Last thing to note is the light will automatically shut off after 4 hours. I find this a great feature since I am always forgetting to turn things off. I am very happy with the product. I want to say the first time you smell it, it is a tad strong. At first you smell the green tea and citrus smell, which was a bit overwhelming. Now it seems like just green tea which is lovely. I was in the bedroom and noticed the smell and it smells like someone brewing a cup of tea. But all in all if you are looking for an air freshener that does not look like one but serves other purposes such as a nice display and flameless candle this product will please you. Once the other scents are up for sale here I will be trying all of them.Customer Review: One of the best ideas I've seen in years...

I have to admit that I am a lover of scented home products. I like the plug-ins, but I worry that they are using a lot of unnecessary electricity or might possibly catch fire as I have heard from other's experiences. This is the solution, and it is a lot prettier than those unsightly wall plug-ins. It looks like a decoration. No one would even guess that it was a scented product. Each scent has a unique design so you can choose not only the scent you like but the style you want to match your decor. I received the Green Tea Citrus, and I love the scent. It is a nice, clean scent without being overwhelming. It has a simple brown tree pattern with green accents. It is on a wood base that is reusable with a light that flickers so it resembles candle light. Just buy the refills and you can reuse this luminary set again and again. I think this might be one of the best home products in years!

I am reviewing a Febreze Green Tea Citrus Flameless Luminary Starter Kit, 1 Kit Box. I received this today and easily opened the box container to find two refills and the flame less base unit with 2AA batteries included. The assembly was nothing more than placing the scented paper like square shade(scented refill) on the base and it lit up resembling a candle flicker.
I do like the non-overpowering pleasant citrus scent with a hint of floral tea. My family has sinus problems and we stay away from most all air fresheners, but this one does not bother us at all.
The 4" square base is made of a wood like plastic (painted black) and adds a nice Zen like appeal to any room. The scented shade has faint Asian tree prints on it to give a soothing look as well as smell.
This is a must have product at a good price if you like scented candles. The only drawback is that the scented shade refill only last for a week but the refills are much less expensive than any other brand.
My wife just demanded that I order several more of these. She says it adds an nice, warm feeling to our home and would also be handy to keep on hand to give as hostess/other gifts.

The box, light and screen are all beautiful but the scent doesn't seem to last very long. Putting this together was very easy. I did not have to fight with a bunch of stupid packaging. Each of the little scent screens comes in it's own thin package. The instructions say that the screen needs to be replaced after a week. I noticed that in a small room the scent lasted little more than about three days. Initially the scent (green tea) was very strong. I love the way the podium stays lit for four hours and turns itself off. It makes it very pleasant to sleep with.
After three days the scent started to dwindle and by day four there was nothing left. I thought this might be me becoming desensitized to the scent. When I cracked open the second screen and loaded that one up - same thing happened. As another reviewer said, the price of the refills is going to be key. If they come in packs of seven or more and are under $10 this might be a win. If not I am trying to figure out a way to use fragrance oil to recharge it.
The thing is so very attractive, though. It seems a shame that the scent fades so quickly.

The Febreze Flameless Luminary kits are probably one of the most beautiful and elegantly designed home fragrance products ever! The design is fantastic, the luminary features an attractive battery operated high quality wood base and an elegant scented shade. The starter kit actually comes with two shades, and the entire set-up is very easy. I ordered the Green Tea Citrus, which is a light airy wonderful fragrance that isn't too strong or overpowering. After four hours the unit turns off, which is very convenient. The luminary base emits a very realistic candle flicker, that can serve as a night light but does not disturb. Friends and family have complimented not only on its aesthetically pleasing design but how great the scent is. I absolutely love it, I will continue to buy refills and highly recommend this for any room in your home. The Frebreeze Flameless Luminary is beautiful, elegant, and offers an airy scent in an attractively designed package. It truly is a very beautiful way to bring frangrance into your home.
