"Nancy" wrote that you should take this supplement with food because it suited her palate better that way. However, The National Institute of Health - Library of Medicine states:
"This medication should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating."
Always read the label when taking supplements or any medicine.

I was excited to get these delivered to my door today considering the delivery time and price compared to the that of the grocery store. Also because I take these for my anemia and had run out a few days ago, but couldn't get to the store for just having had a baby. However, when I went to open one of the bottles, the seal on it was BROKEN! I didn't even bother to count and see if all the pills were there, I just put the lid back on the bottle, closed it back up in the box & came online to print out a RETURN label. One thing I will NOT do is take any form of medication that comes in an damaged/tampered with/open bottle! I order a lot of items off of amazon.com monthly, but had never ordered any medicines before. Now I don't think I will be ordering any form of medicine again. I wish I had had the good experience others had had.
