Customer Reviews of Fertile Focus Ovulation MicroscopeCustomer Review: the best choice for PCOS Summary: 4 Stars
Ive been diagnosed with pcos and am over 34..weve been trying to conceive for my second for the last couple of yrs and nothing seem to work...since i had pcos ...we didnt exctly know the ovulation date...so i read somewhere and thought why not give it a try....i had ordered it on dec 2010 and i tried it for that cycle and got a positive fern patern on my 24th day and now i am pregnant and on week 8.
thanks for the ovulation microscope...
i would give a 4 star because as somebody said the plastic opening where u insert the lens rips ..but the product is still usable.one word of caution though is that
you need to look at one angle of the lens to get a perfect view not directly in the centre where the light is focused.
overall very happy with it...baby dust to all of you who are trying this
Customer Review: Good Customer Service Summary: 4 Stars
When I bought this a few months ago, I found that I had to press extremely hard on the light button to get it to work and even then, it flickered and eventually went out altogether. When I tried to open the battery end to replace the battery, it broke. The battery compartment is apparently not meant to be opened! I emailed the company to share my experience and disappointment with the device. Their customer service responded the same day and offered to ship me a new one right away. When the light is operational, the device really does work as promised. While I had a bad experience with the first one, I am giving it 4 stars for their customer service and willingness to stand behind their product.
Customer Review: Works as Expected Summary: 4 Stars
This product worked fine for it's purpose. It takes some getting used to, however. It's agaisnt all reason to look right into a bright light, but that's what you've got to do to see your results. Just relax your eyes and let them focus.
There are a few things the directions didn't include, like you saliva MUST be completely dry. It says to wait at least five minutes, but I have to wait at least an hour. After that, you should see your result. I saw the non-fertile saliva, the transition saliva, and my completely fertile saliva.
Good luck!
Customer Review: Well Built Summary: 4 Stars
We use a fertility microscope to supplement our NFP practices. We had been using the IGIA "Perfect Time" for years, but it broke after being dropped.
The "Fertile-Focus" microscope is better built, as it has a metal casing, but requires more work to focus it to see the ferning pattern (i.e. the 3 seconds it takes to twist the top lens). It also does not have a flat bottom, which just bothers me that I have to lay it on its side, rather than stand it up (nit-pick). Other than that it does the job quite well.
Customer Review: liking it! Summary: 4 Stars
So after spending literally hundreds of dollars on OPKs I decided to try this out for a cycle. After all, it is reusable! I really like that. It's very convenient to not have to run to the store to get OPKs because I ran out before my O. For somebody like me who doesn't usually O at the same time it's a nice way to help keep track of my fertile days on my chart. I haven't used it for very long so that's why it doesn't have five stars. I'm sure I'll love it soon enough though!
