For the most part this device is helpful in detecting a temperature. I read through and completly followed the instructions with that said every now and then the device will give an odd too high or too low reading. Even if the device is held at the same exact distance you will get several different readings 1 degree or less apart from eachother. It is an okay product to tell if there might be a temperature problem but everytime we get a high temp reading we still have to rely on the under the arm $2.99 thermometer to get an exact reading. In short it is great as a non-envasive device but accuracy is a problem.Customer Review: Good At First

Well I read all the previous reviews and thought this would be a great investment. Well...it appears that after 1 month in service (3 days a week for 12 hours) that it will no longer read an accurate body tempurature. Everything is 96.8 or it is to "LOW" for a reading. I would recommend for maybe in home use, but not for any intensive use. :-(Customer Review: Do NOT buy this device!

I am extremely unhappy with this device for multiple reasons, primarily being that I cannot trust its results to save my life! "Professional"? Ha!
1. results are inconsistent, even when tried multiple times on the same patient (it seems to think everyone's temperature is 102, including mine!) Though randomly it might give me a result which is normal.
2. there is no case for the device, just a soft bag. So when I place it in my bag, it inadvertently keeps trying to get readings whenever the very sensitive button is bumped - the repetitive beeping is quite annoying!
This device was a COMPLETE waste of my money! I hope my mistake will at least prevent yours - don't do it!

This product does not work as specified. It would be great if it did, I researched and ordered it to help make sick-time easier with an autistic toddler. Unfortunately, it isn't even worth the postage. Unreliable. Yes, I am intelligent, I know how to follow directions, and have adjusted the device. Boooooo!
