I used this when TTC baby number 2. I was still breastfeeding my first, and my cycles/fertility signs were a little crazy. My previous cycle was 40 days, so I bought this because I knew I'd need a lot of tests to capture my surge. I used them daily (at 2 pm, not first morning urine- which I really think is important) and there was always some form of second line. This is completely normal, but I was worried I'd miss the "positive". My positive finally appeared on the 20th stick (CD 27), and it was an obvious positive once I saw it. I ovulated on day 28 and got pregnant. I really found these very helpful to help me pinpoint ovulation when other signs were difficult to detect. I will certainly use these again!
