I was a little hesitant to buy this because of some of the negative reviews, but I'm happy with it. If you don't overfill the bowl with fruit, the middle section screws on tightly. You do need to hold the bowl while your doing it, though. I haven't had it come apart during transport. I put it in the bottom of my backpack. The spoon is a little strange, but it's ok. Overall, I think it's great! Now I can have my breakfast at work! A very clever design!
