I've used these for about a month now and just love them! The product picture makes it seem like it's made of metal or aluminum, but it's made of plastic, and the blue part on the "bottle" cover feels like some kind of rubber. It doesn't take up much space in my tote unlike the usual round or square containers, and it hasn't spilled once even though I haven't used the attached plastic carabiner clip to secure it to a standing position. The lid for the dip container goes on tight so there hasn't been any spills at all, and I like that the top cover screws on. The ice pack fits securely onto the bottom of the dip container, and the dip container also fits securely to the top of the bottom part of the "bottle."
When they were delivered, I gave them a quick wash, put both the ice/cold packs into the freezer, filled both bottles with cut fruits and baby carrots, filled the dip container, and kept them in the fridge. Took one out at about 8am the next day, popped in the ice-pack and went to work. At about 11am, I started snacking. The ice-pack had melted but the fruits, veg and dip were still nice and cold. At first, I thought the carrots and strawberries would stain the white plastic but it didn't, even after 2 days (took the 2nd bottle to work the day after). What a great way to bring healthy snacks to work or school! The only thing is you'd probably need a fork to get the fruits at the bottom.
I'd recommend this item. I really like the design and concept, and it's just so easy and convenient to bring 1 container rather than 2 for your vegetables/fruits and dip. It's a space-saver and even if you don't have space for it to fit inside your bag, you could still clip it on the outside.
