When I bought this product I didn't have a good concept of the size. Now that I've received my product I realize it really does hold a lot of food.
My first day of use I had 2 mini tortilla and cold cut roll ups, some green bean casserole, 2 string cheese, and a handful of crackers. I had a hard time finding space in my tummy through out the entire day to fit all the food in it! I'm trying to lose weight and I needed something that will help with portion control, well I need look no further because this is is!
Although this item is awesome I would not at all recommend heading the smaller containers. They are very thin and I could easily see them distorting. I tried using them on my first day of packing my new lunchbox, and the sides bowed in a bit but went back to normal after finishing the contents and putting the lid back on. So little containers are not microwave friendly unless for 30 seconds or less I imagine.
Does your workplace not have a fridge for you available? Or is it overstuffed and smelly like the one at my work? Easy enough to deal with!! I work a 9hr shift at work and from the time I left to go to work (10AM) til 7PM my food was still chilled. There is a freezer pack that will go in the middle of the upper / lower portions, at 7PM an hour before my shift ended the freezer pack wasn't froze but still cool enough to keep my string cheese nicely refrigerated. I do leave it in an insulated lunch box that it fits perfectly in, I tried to find a picture of a lunch box like mine but I can't seem to find it online.
