Customer Reviews of Flowbee Hair CutterCustomer Review: To Flowbee or not to Flowbee
Twas a very dark day back in the early 90s when this suddenly starving musician was faced with a most horrible and perplexing dilemma. I had been paying for haircuts all my life. True... a modest expense, but nevertheless, a necessity. What was my dilemma you ask? I could either begin to cut my own hair or join a hair band and never give it a second thought. I did not have enough money even to buy a vowel in order to spell the word "Flowbee." YES! The idea made sense. Being a quasi-inventor, myself, the notion of such a novel machine seemed extremely sensible, and money saving. A vacuum hooked up to a haircutter... how cool was that? Twenty-some odd years later, I had mastered the art of cutting my own hair, along with bits of finger and also worn-out probably four pairs of scissors, gardening sheers, and hand mirrors, which are a necessity when trying to cut the back of your hair. The moment had come. Christmas, 2006! What a great present someone could pay for to allow this starving artist a great excuse to dive headlong into barbering Utopia. The Flowbee arrived approximately a week before Christmas. I anxiously tore open the box and read the manual carefully. I truly did not need to read the manual, because over the twenty some years building up to this incredible moment, I had more or less completely figured out how simple and logical this system should be. Now, for the big moment! IGNITION! "Houston, we DON'T have a problem." This thing, this contraption, this modern miracle of simplicity and domestic delirium, was all it was cracked up to be. WOW! No hair on the floor, no scissors, no combs, no mirrors... and no bloodshed! Somebody out there had been trying to tell me this for half my life, and if not for necessity truly being the mother of invention... I would have blown this golden opportunity to venture into the realms of science frontier. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr. Flowbee, that guy on the box with the nice haircut who invented this wonderful little gadget. Power to the people, and down with salons. Yours truly, Buzz.
