The idea is good, but that's about it. The little pad that supposed to keep the cream from soiling the wrap is totally inadequate, so we made a substitute. As soon as you get under the covers and move your feet any at all, it tries to slide off. Tighten in enough to keep in in place and you have distracting binding which probably cuts off circulation to some extent.
In general, I was VERY disappointed in how unsubstantial this product was. I am thinking that a cotton athletic sock with the front portion cut off would do as well. Use a little plastic wrap over the heal to prevent the sock from soaking up the cream before your heel does.
