I am a new diabetic, recently diagnosed. This was/is my first and only meter. The one thing I feared and dreaded was the constant testing. I hate blood, even more when it is mine. This uses just a tiny drop and allows me to put the puncture at the lowest setting. It is quick, easy to use, easy to read. If I had any complaint is that the cable to connect it to a computer costs more than the meter. I was hoping to keep an automated log month over month, but can't justify the cost of the cable. There does not seem to be a logical reason they could not have used a standard USB fitting for this.
