I received the item quickly, and the shipping box was in fine shape with no signs of damage. However, inside I found that the box containing the test strips was open and marked "NOT FOR RETAIL SALE." The plastic tube that the strips are in was open and the strips had all fallen out. So far they have worked, but since this is a medical test item, I am concerned about contamination. I am not sure about ordering again.Customer Review: Took forever & a day

No problem with product itself- as long as you have a while to wait on delivery. Nothing I have ordered from Amazon has ever taken this long to receive. Unfortunately I had to go out & buy other supplies while waiting for strips to arrive. If estimate date of 20 DAYS would have been provided to begin with, I may have made another choice. These must have been sitting in a hot warehouse somewhere, because after a couple days of frustratingly high readings I switched to a sample set from my local diabetes center... and my readings dropped over 40 points! Also, these are the older style that are a little more difficult to use (square end) than the newer ones. I tested with the control solution, and it came in as a normal range, so maybe they aren't all bad...?? I will not be ordering test strips directly from Amazon again.
