About 11 years ago, I wore a pair of ill-fitting shoes - that left my big left toe sore and subsequently lifted the nail off the nail bed, and within a couple of weeks, the fungus started. Within a couple months, the fungus had grown to about 90% of the nail bed. I would get a treatment, be diligent for about a month - scrapping away dead cells, cutting it down and all, and then stop. This went on for years - alternating a new treatment about twice a year, being good for about a month, and then when I saw it wasn't working, I would just paint over it. Year after year.
This time I saw FungiCure - and gave myself a choice. Do it for 6 months, without even looking at the nail for progress, just do the treatment for 6 months - if not, go and spend the $1000 and get the laser treatment. Sure enough, I swabbed the FungiCure twice a day, a whole 10 seconds - for 6 months, and one day I looked down and saw that not only was the nail producing less fungus, but 50% of it had actually reattached itself to the bed, and was - PINK!
All in all it took one bottle and 13 months. But the nail is back to normal - and I saved myself $1000. Wish I would have done it much sooner - one just has to stick with it! And next summer I'm looking forward to clear polish on my toenails at the beach, for the first time in 11 years.
