Great Product!
First of all, in my experience, this sort of knee strap that puts a little bit of pressure on the patella tendon works very well for preventing certain types of knee pain and injury. I've used them for years, running 20-25 miles per week and walking 5-10 more. However, up until now, I've always used the Pro-Tec knee strap...and with great success....it's a good product.
The Futuro Knee Strap, however, is half the price of the Pro-Tec, is more comfortable and does a better job of staying in place. It may not be as well made...the Futuro appears to be glued togther, the Pro-tec is stitched...but the materials are comparable and well, so far so good. I've had no failures over the first couple of hundred miles of use and they seem to be holding up well.
The only reason I could think of to try the Pro-tec over the Futuro is if you are very large or very small. the Pro-tec comes in sizes, Futuro is one size fits all.
