I'm a chiropractor and I absolutely love this product. It's very comfortable and more user friendly than the other bulkier/abrasive brands. It's great for thumb conditions requiring stabilization/immobilization, AND it's also better than most wrist braces I've seen out there for carpal tunnel and wrist instability problems. However, it is not the most restrictive device - but that's why I like it. You can actually work with it. I've had multiple thumb and wrist problems from my job, and from rock-climbing injuries. I'll slip this on full-time for a few days when I get a flare-up in my wrist or thumb. Climbers take note: it works pretty good in cracks too :)
