Customer Reviews of Futuro Reversible Splint Wrist Brace, Medium (6.25 to 7.5 Inches) (Pack of 2)Customer Review: Great Support Summary: 5 Stars
I have weak wrists and carpal tunnel syndrome. These splints keep my wrists straight and supported. I like that they are interchangeable for either hand.

Customer Review: With computer use: Helps my hurting forearms Summary: 4 Stars
I was quickly developing some sort of repetitive strain injury (RSI) doing graphic design work. I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts to avoid mousing, and I even switch hands, but that only delayed the problem. I wish I had started using these sooner.
With the braces on, by wrists are in a pretty fixed position. The metal splint in the bottom curves up along the heel of the hand and ends in the middle of the palm, which forces the wrist to bend a little bit upward. If the bend is too much, it is not difficult to straighten-out the splint a little yourself. The reversible-ness (changing one for use on the opposite wrist) is pretty cool just because it is simple and clever. They are also made in the USA, which is a refreshing plus.
I found the forearm-end of the metal splint to be a little bothering after some use: I want to flex my wrists down against the palm-end of the splint so that my wrists are in a more neutral position (not bent up or down), but pressing down on the palm-end causes the forearm-end to press into the underside of the forearm, which has all of those tenons right there. So, they could be more comfortable, but I have been using them almost whenever I use a computer for about a month, and my arms are getting better. I also changed to a trackball (Kensington Expert Mouse Optical USB Trackball for PC or Mac 64325), which helped, too.
(I actually ending up buying these from CVS as singles for $20 a piece because they were taking to long to ship from Amazon.)
Customer Review: helpful for repetitive strain injuries. Summary: 4 Stars
great support for carpal tunnel syndrome & tendinitis. however, for me, i have to tighten the braces and readjust the metal pieces for optimum comfort. consequently, the tight braces can cause mild discomfort & excessive moisture accumulation. have to wash them regularly. best ways for repetitive strain injuries are good ergonomics/posturing, decrease the repetitive works, frequent breaks, etc.
