I found this product much much more effective than other prescription types. Generally, bruises inside the mouth, are like any other wounds elsewhere on the skin. Cuts and bruises on the skin, usually heal much faster, if one applies a bandage or maybe together with some antiseptic substance, usually available without physician's prescription. The same treatment if applied to some wounded place within the mouth, would likewise expedite the healing process. However, most clearly, applying some cover to the wounded region within the mouth, in the same fashion done with a skin cut, is impossible. A hermetic cover on the wound, keeps contaminants in the surrounding away, which otherwise would cause even additional infections on the open skin wound. The same cover, if applied to a mouth cut or bruise, would heal it much faster. This product does just that. As the consumer's instructions appearing on the label of the container tells the consumer, the substance when applied according to user's instructions, within a minute or two forms a relatively thin layer on the surface of the tissue inside the mouth, that serves the same purpose as a bandage on an open wound on the skin. To my experience, three or four applications, are quite sufficient to effectively heal any wound inside the mouth. It is very important though, in my opinion, to read the entire instructions and precautions offered by the manufacturer, very carefully, before any use of the substance. That, in my opinion provides the user the most effective and efficient use of the product. In addition, the manufacturer provides sufficient description on its Web page to enable the consumer to choose the item he or she intended to purchase.
