I tried this on the recommendation of a friend and was so impressed with the product that I ordered 4 more jars. Vitamin Shoppe sells at $24.71 and throws in free shipping for orders over $100.00
I don't know if they changed the formula but I can't understand the reviews about lousy taste. I take it with Water alone and it tastes like a chalky chocolate milk shake. If not exactly delicious I do like the taste. I do add a little more water than they recommend around 10 to 12oz instead of 8.
By the way they sell Shaker bottles on Amazon that have a little Wire Circle ball on the inside and they help to make a perfect milkshake. To find just look up "shaker ball" in the search field.
Unlike the cheap Slim Fast type products this is not all carbs and unlike the pure Protein Shakes this product leaves you full and keeps you full and even though it is not marketed as such I've found it to be a meal replacement.
Yesterday I had a shake in the morning at 7:00 and another at around 1:30 at 6:00 I ate dinner and I was not ravenous like when I (sorry to admit it) have my usual snack ramen for Lunch. I feel that this product fills you up and keeps you satisfied.
I'm sensitive to sugar spikes and this product did not affect my sugar levels in any adverse way. Also No Gas, No bloating, No negative effects whatsoever. I've had reactions to Soy Isolate products and was very pleased that my body reacted excellently to this product.
I'm looking forwards to losing a lot of weight without starving on this product.
