I use this in my work vehicle (motorcoach) and it's very comfortable compared to the seat by itself. I always want to have something between me and the seat. Have tried other wedge-type cushions and this has been the best. The openings provide relief from heat and it doesn't slide around. I like that it folds and fits neatly in my workbag. It did have a petroleum odor at first but that dissipated after awhile. It fits perfectly in the center of a bucket seat and I can drive my full eight-hour shift and not experience any discomfort. I'd hesitate to purchase the larger one, for the wheelchair, since I think it would put pressure on the thighs. If your back aches from sitting for long periods, you're going to like this cushion.
