As someone who has been struggling with hyperacidity and a related deadly symptom called "Low Stomach Acid Headache", I have tried almost every antacid that there is out there. From traditional ones to the more recent H2-blockers. I will have to say, without the slightest bit of hesitation, that Gelusil has been the only one that has always succeeded. Due to its lack of availability in the everyday drug stores like Safeway or Walgreens there have been situations when I have had to go and get a different brand of antacid. But when I do that I am always on a lottery.. it may or may not work. In fact that is why I often maintain a reasonable fall-back stock of Gelusil with me. If you are looking for a store to buy it, you might give Longs Drugs/CVS a shot.
