I read all the reviews and am amazed at some of the things written. This leather cover, for instance, is a wonderful protective cover for a safety razor if you travel a lot. Frankly, I do not understand anyone saying that it scratched their razor; a safety razor is, after all, a tool to be used. Who cares? My two sons, just do a lot of traveling and needed something to protect their fingers when they reached into their ditty bag for their razor. That is what it is designed to do, and that is what this product does. They each have different manufactured razors (one short - one long handled) and it works for both. Wish I could have found something like this product back when I traveled all over the world. Make up your own mind and let's not be silly.
