Customer Reviews of Gerber Premium Contoured Nursing Pads with Leaksafe Design, Heavy Flow, 24 disposable padsCustomer Review: WAY better than any others I've found Summary: 5 Stars
It seems these are getting harder and harder to find, and I'm so sad! These have fuller coverage (width/diameter) but are thinner than the playtex/lansinoh/J&J ones I've tried, and absorb a LOT more. I also love the medium and light flow versions for daytime and when baby is older. They're great!
Customer Review: great product Summary: 5 Stars
I love these pads!!!!!
They never leak and they are the only brand that I trust and feel comfortable with.
Customer Review: Does the job but are surprisingly expensive Summary: 4 Stars
I am a new mother and have had to deal with major leakage overnight - not so much during the day as I'm feeding my daughter more frequently. These do the job well enough, better than the Gerber Ultra Thins but mostly because they have the adhesive tab to keep them in place - a must for side sleeping. Also, they don't seem to irritate my sensitive nipples or leave me feeling soaked in the morning. The fit well enough - I am a 36D when full and these provide good coverage. You can see the edges under my sleep bra and tank top, but I don't care since I am sleeping though this would be an issue if I chose to wear a thin bra during the day. I prefer molded cups for better support and they aren't visible at all when I use them during the day.
However, I would say these are virtually identical to the Lanisoh disposables in size, feel, texture, and effect but cost three times as much. These come 24 in a box and the Lanisoh have 60 for a similar price point (Gerber was $.50 cheaper when I purchased). The main difference in the two is I think Gerber uses the silica gel beads for absorption where Lanisoh just has soft pad. I would recommend Lansinoh for the value over the Gerber, but this product is effective and I would buy it if I didn't have other options.
