I actually think they found out there are ingrdients in it that can promote hair growth. I accidently put it on my balding pate thinking it was shampoo and I swear I noticed hair growth the next day. Since then I have used some of my last tube on my head and I swear I am growing hair on top. I bet they are going to come out with something for hair growth at a much higher price point using the ingredients in this.

My husband loves this product, but sadly it's been discontinued. I've found it on the internet but at outrageously high prices -- steep shipping charges make it even worse. (Tho I did buy it.) You need to search for the entire name ... Gillette Complete Skincare Multiglide Shave Gel, and make sure it's the right stuff. There's also a face wash that looks similar. Good luck!

20 years of shaving and this was the best I'd ever come across and I've tried a lot of products - KOS, Nuetrogena, Aramis Labs etc..
Why have they stopped making it????

Without a doubt the greatest shaving gel I've ever used. I can't find it anymore. Has Gillette stopped making it? Does anyone know where it can be found?
