The whole "power" thing used to freak me out but I finally gave in and tried the Fusion Power the week it was released and now I'll never go back to the old Mach 3. I've never had a razor shave this close and this clean. I've been using it for a month now and there's no sign of a low battery.
My only complaint - and this is a complaint about the disposable razor industry and all industries built on this model (ink jet printers anyone?) - is that the blades cost waaaay too much. $14 for 4 blades is criminal. I'm still trying to find the best price but $13-$15 for the 4-pack seems to be the norm. Ugh. The good news is that I seem to be able to use the blades longer. YMMV.

Received this razor as a gift, Co branded as "Art of Shaving Brand". Basically I have been a single blade bic, or double edge schick disposable guy, depending on which 20 pack was on sale. I even bought a safety razor with premium German blades, but after getting my first cuts, went back to the bics. I think this qualifies me as a guy who doesn't chase the razor fads.
Needed to shave on Christmas, and had a two day growth. The light was bright, and this was the most comfortable shave ever. My wife could immediately tell the difference. Will probobly not shave on days off to afford the blades, which I agree are way overpriced.

Becoming tired of constantly being cut by one and three blade disposable razors, and hating how electric razors ripped the hair off of my face and left rashes, I decided to try this new creation from Gilette. This razor is definitely the greatest item ever created for male hair removal. Shaving is no longer a pain anymore when I don't have to worry about the cuts, bleeding, and irritation that used to be associated with this everyday activity. The cost of replacement blades may be a bit high, but it is well worth it for the comfort and performance that this razor offers.Customer Review: Breathrough!

Proving once again that Gillette is the best a man can get, the fine folks at Gillette produced this gem of a 5-blade razor. This is not only a 5-blade razor, it possesses and enhanced indicator lubrastrip and a precision trimmer. The electric mode works exceptionally well, massaging as it shaves. Simply amazing...this kills the Schick Quattro and leaves Gillette's own Mach 3 in the dust. The Fusion gives a smooth close shave like no other. No doubt this is the best razor on the market...until they come out with a 7-blader!Customer Review: Great shaver--and you can extend the blade's life

The Fusion is a great razor. Closer shave than the Mach 3, and less irritation under the neck. Here's a tip that will save you much money. I used to get only about 2 weeks works of shaves on the Mach 3. Years ago, I read an article in Fortune magazine that you can extend the life of a blade by spraying the product "Clean Shower" (by Arm and Hammer) after each use. As a result, I now get 2 months of shaves per blade on both the Mach 3 and now the Fusion. Really helps since the cost of Fusion blades are so high.
