Customer Review: Close to Medieval torture Device

My dad has resisted changing his 40 year old razor and single safety blade but I iniststed on buying him Fusion power when he was visiting last time. I thought the new technology will give him a better shaving experience and make him change his mind till he complained that the the razor actually "pulls" the hair out not cut it!!
I couldn't believe it and tried it on my own. And bou was it painful!
I used warm towel on my face, moisturizer and even a little massage to soften the skin but the moment vibrating Fusion touched my face, I yelped like a puppy.
The darned thing really stings! It pulls at each hair like what a medieval plier would.
In the end I used a "Longs" disposable to get a smoother, better and much quicker shave.

All Gillette Fusion products are useless to me because of the silly little trimmer blade installed on the back side.
I use the tip of my index finger resting lightly on the back of my Mach 3 or Quattro razor to help guide the razor as I use it. With any Fusion product, there's a sharp blade right where I rest the tip of my finger.
If they start making a blade cartridge for this that doesn't have the trimmer blade on the back, I'll try it again. Until then, useless.
