I figured that with 4 containers of 45 bags each it will be early next year before we use the shipment unless we just go nutzo with the usage. Placing a bag inside a stainless steel trash can provides support so that the bag can really get stuffed. Stuffed it gets and when withdrawn from the can it is so strong that even though it weighs more than standard, cheaper bags can hold it easily holds all the trash. Sometimes the bag seems so full that it is going to break but not yet in any way. When the sanitation department (high society, huh?) comes by they have yet to break a bag even though they are quite rough with their trash collecting procedures. I like the absence of any manufacturing odor. We bought a box of another brand that had such an offensive odor we had to exchange them. No more of that. To us, the draw string is worth the extra few cents per bag just to know that the probability of breakage has been reduced significantly. I really hate it when the bag bursts at the top. Yuck! Not with Glad.
