These balls are great for hand exercise. I play piano and violin thus need fingers dexterity. I've been using the very small balls because I am small size person (5'1, 100lb); but I need to learn to spread my fingers little further on the piano keys and violin so I order this set. The descripsion said 1.5 inch diameter, but this actually 2 inch so these balls are huge on my hands. At first I was kinda freaked out, but I tried to work with them and I have to say this actually works great though they make me work harder to roll them on my hand (haha one hand at a time). Now I am considering order another set so I can work out both my hands at the same time. Also another plus; these are quiet and don't make the jingle noise which quite anoyed me and my friends most the time.
