A very close shave,tops at getting those long hairs on the neck.Well made &easy to use.A quality unit ,built by Payer,in Europe,not China. Service is available at shavershops in many cities.I have owned a number of electrics,by several manufacturers, this one shaves the bests.Cutters & screens are reasonably priced ... The only downside is the cheaply made case,I guess you cant have it all.

FX3 Cord/Cordless ShaverWith a three-cut system of foil, followed by cutters, followed by another foil, this electric shaver produces a fast, smooth, close shave while conveniently operating either with a cord or without. The ruthenium antiallergic foils treat skin kindly and handle problem hairs without special effort. The cutters counter-rotate, reducing vibrations and noise so the shaver operates with quiet authority. A pop-up trimmer with a soft-touch grip has two positions, one for neck hairs, the other for sideburns, mustaches, and beards.
Plugged in, the shaver recharges in about 1 hour and then operates cordless for 60 to 70 minutes (about two weeks) using Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries that have longer life, charge more quickly, and are more powerful than cadmium batteries. Adjustment to various voltages is automatic for worldwide use. LED lights indicate the percentage of charge remaining, and a red light blinks on when recharging is required. It comes in a travel case made of hard plastic with separate compartments for shaver and cord and a mirror built into the hinged cover.
