When I was younger my mom bought us all a product like this one for squeezing toothpaste from the tube. It was the plastic "Squeeze It" one which is also sold on Amazon. I went to every drug store and some of the grocery stores in town but finally gave up because it was apparent no one had the Squeeze It or anything else even like it which seemed odd to me. Resorting to the internet as I do now for so many purchases, I came to Amazon and found an array of toothpaste tube squeezers. I chose this one because it was cheep and metal. I knew it wouldn't break like a plastic one could. Also it seemed simpler than the others. This one wasn't advertized as just being for toothpaste tubes, it's a basic design. I bought two and use them for my regular toothpaste. It works just as it should. You just slide the end of the tube into the slot and roll. Depending on the materieal of the tube (some toothpaste tubes seem to be more flexible) it does come unrolled a little once you've rolled it up, but that's just a very minor thing. I'm so happy I found this product!!
