Those folks who've written less-than-favorable reviews of this device are complaining not so much about the product itself as they are about their own inability to constructively interpret reality...or to make good things happen. The instrument in question, even more beautiful and complex than the human heart, is meant to be wielded like a cat o'nine tails. Long story short--unless you're wailing on the scalp with it like when your great-grandmother would take a rug outside and beat it with a broom, then you're wasting your time. This is a thrashing tool. It is incredibly well-suited for extracting confessions from recalcitrant insurgents and kids with ADHD. If small-scale destruction of soft tissue is your thing, then this will ring your bell just right.

I came across this item while looking for a foot massager for my husbands birthday... I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but he.. I.. our girls.. and any of our family who've dropped in and see it and wonder.."what's that?".. have all experienced the same basic reaction...which is a Ohhh my gosh, (with eyes closed in amazement).. It's that "sorta tickle" at first but not uncomfortable...We've also used it on knees & elbows..I paid under $5 for this item, so it's not like it's gonna break the bank if something happens to it and it needs replacing.. We've used ours off and on for a while now and I'd replace it in a minute if needed... I bought two of these, since I know my husband loves his head rubbed. He keeps his right where his car keys are, and uses it morning and evening. I have Cerebellar Atrophy, which causes LOTS of headaches, so I wanted something like this to circulate. It is so good, mine is bent up now from using it so much, (which is still o.k., because it molds to how you want it to be) I can straighten the spines, and it's fine, if I wanted to, (it's perfect for me how it is now though) Like a comfortable couch that has finally formed to your body. I just love mine, and I know my husband loves his. Now, I want to try other 'types' because I know this one feels so good!Customer Review: Sensationally amazing...sends chills down your spine....

This thing is a hit! Now my friend tried to order one and the wires weren't quite right and it didn't give the same orgasmic tingles ;).....but mine does from this supplier at least.
I was so excited about the amazing feeling that this gives that yes I went around the office showing my coworkers giving them a little head massage, after this impulse buy arrived at my work. Yes we had a lot of giggles because everyone was gushing with excitement from the feeling of this silly devise and they all said "where did you get that and I want one!"
I'm thinking X-Mas Presents for everyone with the scalp tinglier I mean....massager!

I originally only bought this because I needed another couple dollars to get free shipping on my order. For such a silly thing it sure feels good. I get goose bumps every time I use it, and I would imagine if you were resting in someone's lap and they were doing the work for you, you would be in heaven. It's sort of like washing your hair. When you do it, it's no big deal, but when you go to the salon and they wash your hair for you, you could fall asleep on the spot. I've never used any others but from what reviews I've read, some can hurt or scratch your scalp, but definately not this one. Love it.
