I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for someone who is hard to buy for, because she can afford anything and everything she wants on the drop of a dime. If she wants it, she doesn't normally wait for Christmas to get it- and this is something that she requested.
I received the package today and it comes in a clear cylinder with the item inside. It also came complete with dents at the opening of the package and scratches all over, a few cat hairs on the outside of the package... It looks like someone packaged it up from their house and mailed it... If I was looking for a used item, I would have shopped Craigslist or Freecycle.
The top of the cyclinder appears to have been glued shot with nail glue or something similar- as the bottom does not have this problem, and was probably done to make it appear new and unopened. The product itself looks worn as it has small spots of rust on the wires...
If I purchased this for myself I would still be annoyed, but you are giving something as a gift and it looks like you got it from the thrift store- it's another story...
The product will function as it should, but I didn't purchase a used item- I was looking for a new item.
Amazon should stay away from so many of these third party vendors because it makes them look bad, and I will think twice about using them for so much of my holiday shopping in the future. My husband has also received two packages that he purchased through Amazon from third parties and they also look used. Awesome.

When I got the box with this scalp massager, it looked like one of those "Seen on TV" products. It probably is. I get pretty bad sinus headaches, and I was looking for something that could help get the blood flowing in my scalp on the bad headache days. This product is pretty cheap, but save your money and use a hairbrush instead. All this does is tickle your head. The other day I put it on my head, turned around to do something, and totally forgot it was pushed down on my head. I couldn't feel it. It's only use is as an aluminum toothpick hat or as a toy for my seven year old. If you want to tickle your head, spend the money on this. If you want something to relax you or help you with a headache, get something else.Customer Review: Not at all what I expected

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, and also VERY flimsy. It doesn't give a good massage at all. the wires aren't strong/stiff enough. It won't last for more than a few attempts at a decent massage. I thought it would be as good as, or at least close to, other head massagers that I've used, but it doesn't even come close. I would not recommend this product. waste of money. One plus though, was that it arrived quickly!way to go shipping!Customer Review: surprised !!!

what an experience,...... nothing happened with the order for more than one week,
item was shipped on the evening of the last day it was supposed to arrive.
seller was contacted by eamail, and the response i got was simply saying that the order was tracked and it was scheduled for a monday morning delivery, and I can simply refuse it. well if that is at least good customer service, do not want to imagine what isnt.

-When used long enough it is prone to make my headache.
It does the opposite of what it's supposed to do. The only enjoyment I get from it is trying it on others when they aren't looking. lol.
