Finally I have found the right scale for me. I am a big guy and have several herniated disks from football injuries. Electronic scales were hard for me to use because you have to remain completely still in order for it to register a weight. What I thought was a bargain on eBay turned out to be junk (to me anyway). This Health-o-Meter HAP200KD-41 was the solution I was looking for. It is a large, heavy duty, well made scale that so far has been very accurate. Not the prettiest scale but deadly accurate. It's a delightful scale for anyone that might need to put their glasses on to see their weight in the morning. This scale is B I G! Much bigger than it looks online. It's easy to keep clean and most important of all it needs no battery. My parents Health-o-Meter is over 30 years old and it's just as accurate today as it was in 1976. That is THE reason I selected this product. I've had this scale for almost a year and it's still just as good as it was when I bought it. I know it's accurate because it gives me the same weight as all the scales at the doctor's office. It is big, but it's sturdy! It's not heavy though. It's a very nice quality. With other spring scales, the numbers on the display are usually too small to read (i'm 5'8 so i have a long way to look!) but with this one i can see it perfectly well. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for an accurate, durable scale.Customer Review: Massive in size

My wife loves this scale, it is very consistent. Our previous digital scale would give five different readings in succession. With this analog model the readings are repeatable and there are no batteries to replace. It seems to be rugged, is easy to read, and maintains it's zero very well. Personally, I try to stay off of scales. The hole that my belt buckle fits into is my best indicator of weight gain/loss. Having owned several expensive digital scales and watched them all eventually stop working, I went in search of a good old fashioned spring scale..And found they are more rare than you think. This is the only one I found and I am sure glad I did. The scale is large and easy to stand on and read. No more balancing act with this one.Its easy to read and use.
I would recommend this scale to anyone who wants a stable non-digital scale.I am sure it will last alot longer!
