When the scale arrived, there was a problem with the blance beam. I call for instructions, and was told the unit needed to be returned. The next day they had it picked up and a replacement on the way. 4 or 5 days later we had the replacement scale. I put it together in about 5 minutes. We have had it about a month. It works great. The 402XL balance scale is excellent. However there are two things in the instructions that should be mentioned: 1) There is a cable tie holding thesteel rod ( pull ring system) that must be removed before you can put a nut on the stud;2) the wrench they send you is difficult to use so if you have other tools the nuts are metric 10mm;The 402XL for $179 shipped is truly a bargin.Customer Review: Excellent!!!

I ordered the 402LB from wholesalepoint.com for $[...]. It arrived very quickly via FedEx Ground. Putting it together was not difficult; it took about 15 minutes.
The scale works perfectly and dependably... if I step on and off three times, I get the same reading each time, which was not the case with our previous digital scale.
I am very happy!

It might not be so little but this weight machine is the best on the market and more accurate than any I have found. You can even weigh small packages for the post office or however you will be shipping if it weighs more that 1/4 pound. The post office tells me I an right on when it is weighed there. Couldn't be more satisfied with this product. Needed accurate weight readings and this is free of the errors experienced with previous digital scales. Easy as pie assembly. Price is right.
